Testimonials

What participants have said...
I just wanted to say a huge thank you because the webinar was inspirational. Whilst not all was new to me, even the stuff I’d heard before was pulled together in a way that made new connections and it just made more sense! Amazing tips and a really practical approach. So the very next day we bought ingredients together with my kids and they washed the veg, chatted about how the felt and smelt and tasted raw, we chopped together and assembled and cooked...They served themselves and then they ate it!!!! At first my youngest would only pick out the pasta bits, which I made no comment on and just let her crack on… but then just started wolfing it down!

I really enjoyed the workshop and took loads from it.

I think the workshop was really good and covered a wide range of issues without being overwhelming. It was just the right amount of things to take away.

I’m a big fan and have recommended you to my sister and sister-in-law!

In terms of mealtimes things have changed in a few ways. The course made me realise I needed to challenge him more... he's eaten sausages and chicken thighs...this is a big win! Stress has been taken away and I've been truthful with him. I told him about the course, now if I give him something new he says okay I'll try it for Tasha.

Frequently asked questions

You’ve got questions. We’ve got answers.

You don't know my child – they're really fussy, they eat less than any other child I know!

I promise, there is another parent out there who will look at your list of things your child will eat and think 'I wish MY child would eat that much!' - I know because that was true of me. It might feel that right now they won't eat ANYTHING but things will change for the better.

I've tried all the advice, nothing works.

Changing your child's preferences and behaviour around food will take time. Join the workshop as there may be nuggets of advice that you may not have heard before. If you still have questions you can ask in the comments and I will answer them.

I don't like cooking; will you be giving out complicated recipes?

I actually won't be giving our recipes at all! I will provide some simple ideas on how to increase the nutrient density of your meals, but the aim of the workshop is to create a mindset shift around how you approach food which will set you and your child up for a healthy relationship with food.

My child has allergies; will this work?

This workshop isn't specifically aimed for children with allergies but it will give you some ideas on creating pressure-free mealtimes which will help you if your child has limited his food choices, whether they have allergies or not.

My child is older than 5.

The material in this workshop is mostly aimed at those with pre-schoolers as that's my personal experience, but the principles and mindset shifts are relevant for any child, even teenagers. Many of the participants of the live workshop had older children and found the suggestions helpful.

My child has been diagnosed with ARFID; will this workshop help me to get my child to eat more?

This workshop isn't suitable for parents of children witih ARFID or other disordered eating behaviours. Please seek support from your GP who can refer you for support.
